About The Smith Family

The Smith Family helps Australian children who are growing up with disadvantage to get the most out of their education, so they can create better futures for themselves. We run learning support and mentoring programs that help children in need to fit in at school, keep up with their peers, and build their confidence. We support children and young people at all stages of their education, providing tailored support from the early years of learning development through to high school and tertiary studies.

Our programs help young people build the skills, knowledge, motivation, and self-belief they need to fulfil their potential. This support increases the chances that a young person will stay engaged with school, complete Year 12, and go on to further study or employment. Our work is possible thanks to our generous supporters and all those who choose our Charity Gifts for their friends and loved ones.
